Waterfront Hire & Tours is based at the Lagoon just to the south of Frank Kits Park on the waterfront. We are a great place to visit in Wellington for a range of fun activities, hires & tours.

From next summer we will be adding to our hire & activities and have some exciting plans underway.

During the summer and the October School holidays we will be open on fine days 7 days a week from 10.00am – 6.00pm

During the winter months we will be open on fine weekend days only from 10.00am

We are happy to take group bookings, just contact us.

Pedal Boats

A small Pedal Boat can take 2 adults and a toddler, or three average teenagers.

A large Pedal Boat can take 3 large adults and two toddlers ( the toddlers sit in the back of the boat )

2 Person Trikes

These only arrive in January direct from the USA. Our three wheeler trikes are perfect for couples looking to take in Wellington’s water front scenery. These trikes are easy to manouver with one or two people pedalling at their own pace. Come and try the latest addition to our entertainment fleet. Although for couples, you can squeeze a toddler in between the two drivers, or indeed three small teenagers.
